We had Murder on the Midnight Express lunch. It was a fantastic experience and the food for each course was delicious.

First time a 6 by Nico. Normally go to 111 (modu) but I have to say I was not disappointed.. the food was absolutely stellar. The waitress Amy was friendly and knowledgeable. Answered any questions I had about the food and the chef(Barry I think) did such a good job. If every 6 by Nico is half as good as this one then the rest of the culinary world should be taking notes

Oh my goodness what a fantastic menu for Guilty Pleasures!! Every course was absolutely banging! I love how you can switch between the normal menu and the veggie one so I chopped and changed a few of my courses to suit what I liked. The waiter was super friendly and found it quite funny how me and my friend were super excited when a course came out. We went in at 12pm so it was just us and very quiet so atmosphere kinda low but we liked that because then it wasn’t too noisy. Given it was quiet there was a little wait in between courses. I kinda thought it would have been quicker but maybe that’s how they usually do it so I have nothing to compare to as this was my first time here. Only one thing I didn’t like was on the fregola sarda which came with this olive topping. Not a fan of olives personally (unless evoo) but I scraped it to the side and gobbled up the rest. Favourite courses were the first two! And the dessert was sooooo decadent. Would highly recommend! Only thing is that I stupidly looked at the allergen menu and saw how many calories were in the tasting menu 3,880… so yeah this is not somewhere I’ll be dining at too often worth every calorie though! Just not for someone dieting LOL

Food consistently excellent. Most recent experience was the Midnight Express murder mystery which they'd clearly put a lot of work into. Every course was delicious and wines expertly paired. My partner had three of the vegetarian options and was equally happy with them.

We went there with a friend visiting from abroad and we had the Mexico City menu. We also took the wine pairing option and it was a great journey. I know it looks like small plates but believe me, at the end of that journey, we were both totally full. Can't wait to try other menus.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would without hesitation. Nico Simeone serves experimental dining, taking you on a culinary journey appropriate to the six week choice of menu. Each menu is then discarded and replaced. Our menu was New York and my 6 course tasting menu was served with wine. The whole meal exceeded my expectations and imagination and I can only urge anyone reading this to sample the menu and let your imagination run wild. Big shout out to the chef and to Murray. Impeccable service and wonderful food experience !

This was not our first 6 by Nico experience, but it was our first visit to their Southside restaurant. The service was fantastic, super friendly & informative. The food was delicious, and the matched wines went down bery well with our food. We attended with our baby & the team had made sure our table had space to accommodate our pram (the restaurant is very small so I doubt would be able to accommodate a pram at a peak time). I also love that along with the theme & menu, there is also a story to each of the dishes to provide even more context. So, overall a great experience. Would I change anything? I’m writing this from the perspective of a Mum with a young baby, in line with this the bathroom is large enough to accommodate a fold down changing table but there isn’t one in place. Given the taster menu style it obviously isn’t aimed at children, but it like have added to my experience. My only other comment would be portions are very small, they seemed smaller than our last 6 by Nico experience. I love the concept of 6 small & delicious dishes but not sure the balance was quite right on this visit. Overall, we loved the food, atmosphere, concept & service, so we would definitely recommend & will be back.
